The author, a roommate, is dealing with Loony Lucy, a slovenly and food-stealing roommate who has been causing issues for her. The 2-year lease is in the author’s name, as Loony Lucy’s credit is poor, and she had been living with her parents for months before rooming together. The author can sublet the apartment for the remaining 14 months on the lease, or evict her.

She can’t move out because she can’t get a lease elsewhere and her parents won’t let her move back home. Loony Lucy has to pay half of the rent because Kevin promised to change the locks and move her stuff out. After a few weeks of silence, Loony Lucy calls again, and Kevin brings men home every couple nights.
