A 90 year-old mother is on her deathbed

A 90 year-old mom is on her deathbed. Summoning her final little bit of power, she lifts her head and whispers:

“Is my beloved husband John right here with me?” And John says, “Sure, I’m right here.”

She then says: “Are my kids — my great kids — are they right here with me?” They usually reply,

“Sure Mom, we’re right here with you to see you breathe your final.”

And she or he says: “Are my brothers and sisters right here with me as properly?” They usually too inform her that they’re there.

So the mom lays again quietly, closes her eyes, and says, “If everyone is right here … why is the sunshine on within the kitchen?”
